What we collect, why we hold it, who we share it with, and how we handle project photography.

Business Interior Solutions Limited is an office fit-out contractor based in Woking, Surrey. This notice explains what personal data we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

  • If you enquire through this website: your name, company, email address, phone number, the project type and size you entered and your message.
  • If you become a client: the contact details, site access arrangements and correspondence needed to design and deliver the works.
  • Project records: drawings, specifications, photographs of the works and the handover documentation.

Why we hold it, and our lawful basis

  • To answer your enquiry and prepare a proposal. Your consent and our legitimate interest in responding.
  • To carry out the works. Performance of our contract with you.
  • To meet legal duties. Health and safety, building regulations and tax law all require records to be kept.

Who we share it with

With subcontractors and suppliers where they are delivering part of your works; with your landlord or building manager where approvals are needed; with the providers who run the systems we use, including the form service that delivers messages sent from this site; and with anyone we are legally required to tell. We do not sell your data.

Photography

We photograph completed work for our portfolio. We ask permission before publishing images that identify a client or their premises, and we will remove any image on request.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted on request. Project records are kept for the periods required by health and safety and construction legislation, and for as long as we may need them to support the installation.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict or stop using it, and ask for it in a portable format. Email info@bisinteriors.co.uk or call 01483 772 772. We will respond within one month.

Complaints

Please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
